In this paper, the author examines the way in which digital comics, comic books and manga operate, as they shed light on new relationships between readers and screens, readers and frames. Based on his own experience as a passive observer of the scrolling images of "Solo Leveling", a Korean webtoon, he quickly recalls the main international commentaries on digital media, and then develops a reflection on how it would be possible to write a history of these media that would address the place of manga in this new environment. The notion of the page seems to function as a link between these media and give manga a new modernity.
