This text bears witness to the activity of Tita Reut in the creation of painted manuscripts at Éditions de l'Ariane. Through several examples of works created with four hands, the editor and poetess observes the forms that manuscript artists' books take in her editorial adventures. Emphasizing the creative gesture of the poet in the act of writing, Reut highlights the plastic quality of this type of work and the notion of unique work that emerges from it. The collective work (poet/artist and publisher) encourages artists to take liberties with editorial conventions, transforming writing into real material. The editorial meeting is not without integrating a share of joyous transgression.
